Engine Remanufacturing

DC engines are usually matched with near identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. As a result, you get a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.

Cylinder Head

DFC replaces each valve guide with a new cast guide in every cylinder head they rebuild. Instead of just re-grinding used valves, DC installs all new valves from high quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC also machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material. DFC then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking, giving you more durable cylinder heads.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items - Sold Separately):

Injectors - highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.

Turbocharger - recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if engine was dusted.

Water Pump - highly recommended if engine has over 125K.

Evans Waterless Coolant - recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover.
